Description

The structural characteristics of deep cone thickener include that the upper part is cylindrical, the lower part is conical and the cone is deep. The main working principle of deep cone thickener is to realize solid-liquid separation through gravity settling and mechanical stirring.

Working Principle

Under the condition of adding flocculant, the flotation tailings are sent to the charging barrel with conical distribution opening at the lower part. Most of the water in the slime water flows to the periphery in the clarification area of the cylinder part of the thickener, and a small part forms a small vortex in the floc settlement area. In the conical part of the machine body, that is, the compression zone, the sediment is compressed under the action of gravity, discharged from the underflow or pumped out.

Application

Deep cone thickener is suitable for the concentration and dehydration of various metallic minerals (such as gold, copper and iron ore) and nonmetallic minerals (such as quartz sand, fluorite and feldspar).
